Ballgame

Friday night we headed to a Diamondback game with Marilyn and Jay. It was great to have the ballpark experience - good company, a game, a hot dog, fresh air... Too bad the Diamondbacks can't seem to pull it together these days. 8 runs by the other team in the 2nd inning!

On another note, I had to try this recipe for creme filled cupcakes. I've always loved the Hostess version! This one isn't too bad.

Roses

I had a day of good surprises yesterday at work. I arrived to see the doorway to my office decorated for a birthday, delicious breakfast food in my honor and then beautiful flowers arrived from you-know-who.

Attention Getting

I guess you can call it advertising. Interesting way to get your attention at a Radiator Shop.

If you're in for a cute movie, go see Up. It has some good adult moments.

and you get to wear really cool glasses!

Palm Trimming

It's June which means palm trimming time in AZ. The branch in the center of the photo is on its way down from the top. Next year I'll try to get a before and after photo op. The transformation is quite interesting.

Bunko at the Cabin

OK, before we get to the Bunko subject, this morning Kendall's friend Lynn and his son Aaron came by the cabin on their Sunday morning motorcycle riding. Then there was Bunko yesterday afternoon/evening

We marked the location with balloons

Started with some light appetizers and ended with yummy chocolate cake. In between there were Sloppy Joes, Homemade Baked Beans, Pasta salad and chips.

Jenni showing off her new ring she found in town in the afternoon

A favorite ending to a Bunko party is Left, Right, Center. You roll the dice and move a dollar bill around until all but one dollar ends up in Center. The person with that bill wins the pot.
