A Quick Visit from Kansas

Kendall's mother came in to town to spend time with her sister, Lola Fay while Uncle Bob is in the hospital for a scheduled surgery.  We hung out with them Friday afternoon while Bob was in surgery and took them to lunch on Sunday.

Fall Harvest

The garden came through with potatoes, carrots, and tomatoes.  This weekend was the last of the harvesting, with the exception of some carrots still in the ground.

Dicing carrots for freezing (and some for the soup)

Potatoes in the pot for cheesy potato soup

...and the yummy finished product!

Football!

This afternoon we went to the Cardinal football game.  We watched them come to life in the 4th quarter and pull out a win!
