Does Snow and Camping Mix?

Since Kendall's friend wasn't able to join him on this long planned 4-day weekend, I was a willing substitute.  Thursday morning we headed north east to the mountains of eastern Arizona, knowing that there was a good chance of 'weather'.

Thursday after setting up camp we took a little hike around the area

 Friday we did a little fishing - Kendall did more than me

...And then this was what we awoke to on Saturday morning!

We think we got about 6 inches

 It was a beautiful sight as we took a tour around the campground

Lucky for us that we had movies and books for inside activities; so the answer is - Yes, you can camp in the snow.



Easter

We had a low key Easter this year.  We attended the early service at church and then out to brunch.

Hockey

Thursday we used tickets that we had for a hockey game.  We were the third row up from the ice - fairly close to the action.  And to make the evening complete - our team won and secured a place in the playoffs!
