The annual lighting of the Courthouse was held last evening at 6:00. They had a narration of the real Christmas story and carols intermingled, sung by school children from the county prior to the lighting.
The lights all came on and it was gorgeous! Of course it was a cold 37 degrees with wind too!
Ivan assisted with the fire starter tasks when we got back to the cabin. Then we played Yahtzee and had warm cookies and hot chocolate.
Frost on the car this morning and a bone chilling 24 degrees! My wonderful husband warmed up the car before we headed back to town and church for the first Sunday in Advent.
