It was a little difficult with 80 degree weather, but we headed to church joined by my friend Julie for the church Festival of Lights Christmas program. It was fabulous and the time in the church just zipped by! We decided to forgo the hot chocolate on the lawn following the service - just didn't feel right although by that time the temp had dipped into the 70's.
The play was set in Victorian times and told of spreading the word of the good news of Jesus' birth. Not all went as planned for the three youth on thier mission, but of course good came out in the end.
