I was in Denver this week for a business meeting with Nurse and Physician Executives from our hospital system. The Brown Palace Hotel opened in 1892 at a cost of 2 million dollars! That's a lot of money back then. It is a beautiful building and Denver was nice.
I bought a book that is an accounting of a double murder that took place in the hotel 95 years ago. I thought it was fitting that I was reading the book on the anniversary of one of the funerals.
